Scheuch announces record-breaking order intakeThe Scheuch group concludes the fiscal year 2016/17 with incoming orders worth more than 200 million euros - an all-time high in the history of the company.
Aurolzmuenster, March 29th 2017. The consistent expansion strategy Scheuch has pursued is being rewarded with the highest incoming order value ever since the company was founded 50 years ago. The leader in technology for clean air generated more than 200 million euros in the fiscal year 2016/17. This record result is the basis for continuing activities in the DACH countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and the transnational projects involving branch offices around the world. Top priorities now are the founding of a branch office in Germany concentrating on the metal industry and the strengthening of the cooperation with two new subsidiaries in the US.
The global population is rapidly growing as is the demand for raw material, food and energy. At the same time environmental issues are gaining in importance. Scheuch offers a variety of solutions for environmental topics – the secret of success lies in the right technology. “Clean air is our mission – our systems reduce industrial emissions throughout the world. With our branch offices all around the globe we are in the position to locally support our customers. This proximity to our partners is of the utmost importance,” says Joerg Jeliniewski, Managing Director of Scheuch GmbH, regarding the internationalization of the Scheuch Group.
In view of the above Scheuch crosses the 200 million euros border for the first time with the end of the fiscal year 2016/17. “This encouraging result proves that our internationalization strategy works. We are on the right track,” concludes Stefan Scheuch, Managing Director of Scheuch GmbH.
“Admittedly the distance between Austria and the USA is bigger than the distance between the European branch offices and the headquarters in Aurolzmuenster but I dare say that the “Spirit of Scheuch” arrived safe and sound at our new subsidiaries in the US,” Stefan Scheuch proudly reports. The considerable expansion of the cooperation on both sides of the Atlantic play a significant part in this development. Only recently we were able to secure a major order with joint forces. The customer with headquarters in Europe chose Scheuch for a turnkey solution because Schust Engineering guaranteed to take over the project management in the US. “We positioned ourselves as a native US company with access to technology from the heart of Europe – this regional setup in North America was essential for our customer,” analyzes Jeliniewski.
This project is a perfect example how common goals unite a global acting company. Stefan Scheuch is convinced that “once more we have forged closer ties…”. The integration of the new subsidiaries continue to play a major role. “After all it is the diversity within the Scheuch Group that is the key to success,” concludes Stefan Scheuch, son of the company founder.
